David P#VayaMobile (SIM only mobile phone provider in Australia) website has been nonfunctional due to maintenance since Dec 19. Their chat function works, and reason I'm given is website went down due to huge numbers of people activating SIMs given as Xmas presents. Timeline wise doesn't make much sense. Is this a reasonable time for a #website to be non operational over summer holidays?

AdaThis year, I've managed to be on the wrong side of the Optus data breach, the Medicare/AHM data breach and more recently, the lastpass data breach. Some of them, ironically, aren't as bad as they could have been, since I have changed my name and legal gender since providing ID.
However, all of my transition surgeries covered by my healthcare are now out there on the darkweb somewhere. Not such an issue for me personally, because a point of concern for many stealth trans folk.
And then last of all, lastpass. Thankfully, my vault was secured with a strong password and 2FA, but still, it meant changing over my password manager to 1Password (which is so much nicer to use as it turns out), and changing all of the passwords at the important sites I use. At least I was able to take my time with that.
So, whatever else #2023 brings, I hope at least, that it doesn't bring more data breaches. (I know it will though)
