Project of the day: teach the Openspot about a few more wifi hotspots, so that I can more easily set up successfully when I'm on the go.
I did this half-heartedly once upon a time and then completely forgot what I did, so this time I'm do a writeup of the results and post it somewhere I can find it again, just so that future me will have a fighting chance.
(If memory serves, the documentation was pretty good and the setup was not too hard.)

It was the very first hardware that I bought (together with a Yaesu FT-5D) directly after I held the license in my hands and I am still amazed to have such a small and powerful device that allows me to operate all digital modes so easily and from all places world wide.
I am QRV on DMR TG 26223 (D23 Chaoswelle) since a couple days now and already had some very nice QSO’s there. It's amazing to see how many people have this talk group in their scan list and answer a CQ call. And I am still in love with my OpenSpot 4 hotspot. This little thing is a door to the (ham radio) world in my pocket.
