HendrikIch suche jemanden, der sich ein bisschen mit #OpenEPaperLink auskennt. Ich möchte Support für ein neues ESL bauen, scheiter aber an der korrekten Darstellung auf dem Display. Der code erkennt das Modell bereits richtig, nur die Darstellung ist Murks. #eink #esl #oepl #esp32
Endlich mal angefangen. Heute kamen die ESLs und der #HomeAssistant trackt jetzt wie alt die Kontaktlinsen der Freundin sind. Jetzt fehlt nur noch die #OpenEPaperLink Integration und dann wird das alles automatisch geupdated. Leider sind alle meine ESP32 zu alt um noch als AP zu funktionieren.

Got my #openEPaperLink spaghetti AP up and running and finally pushed some data to my ESL tags today! Just a weather forecast for now (that’s built in to the AP firmware, and easy to do). More fun to come once I get a few more ESL devices to play with.

MawokaI wanted to get into #OpenEPaperLink myself, but no ESLs* available here in Germany for a reasonable price, but I found some #Pricer ones. But they are controlled by IR. Luckily, @furrtek sells an IR sender for these ESLs. Let's see how it'll work. If it does, I'll try to port it to #Rust to be used with an #ESP32.
*ESLs: Electronic Shelf Labels: 1-2" #ePaper displays to display pricing info in stores. They are attractive, as the cost 1-2€/pcs used.

RinceIch würde gerne ein #Home-Inventory (gerade von Schubladen) haben (self-hosted, idealerweise Open-Source), mit Anbindung an #HomeAssistant und/oder #OpenEpaperLink. #HomeBox wurde vor einem halben Jahr archiviert, kennt jemand Alternativen?
