It's 2026 and we have humanoid beating humans in table tennis! 🏓 That's project Smash from HKU MMLab and KinetixAI built an outdoor humanoid table tennis player with fully onboard perception. No motion capture systems, no external cameras. Everything runs on the robot itself.
