My most serious #NYCTLC complaint has been sitting with no update for 48 days, so a #311 agent has offered me the ability to file a complaint *against the TLC.*

The #FiskerOcean is an #ev with some innovative features such as a retractable solar panel roof. It was discontinued when Fisker went bankrupt, but a bunch of them have ended up as #nyctlc taxis operating for ride hail app companies. I got to ride in one today

I know a way to make this #nyctlc driver regret going out of his way to block our bus this morning

The "proper authorities" seem to have little interest in or ability to enforce the law, letting chaos reign supreme and passing the cost onto insurance customers. And people are getting maimed or killed because of it.

Citizen enforcement is the way to go.... but we just can't risk making any drivers slightly unhappy.

Sarcasm aside, #NYCTLC has built a functional model for citizen enforcement.

Just won a #NYCTLC case against a driver who abruptly entered a protected bike lane and stopped, forcing me onto the sidewalk, then continued driving down the bike lane. Driver failed to show for first hearing, was issued a default guilty verdict, appealed, rescheduled the hearing, then pled guilty.

#NYC Taxi & Limousine Commission allows anyone to file complaints against licensed drivers. Imagine if citizens were able to file complaints against ANY driver and have the gov't take them seriously

Just got notice from #NYCTLC (Taxi & Limousine commission) that a driver plead guilty to the dumb infraction of driving directly in front of me in the Vernon 2-way protected bike lane and coming to an abrupt stop.

I have won every case I've brought before TLC. They really do care.
