@hmiron my initial thought was "hm, good question, idk at the moment" but then more and mor ideas came to mind:

As prefix: i have not much homelab or selfhosting experience but....

- thirst thing that came to my mind was distributing diskspace and computing power to the people from #datahoarder

- next thing would be a true open source #chatbot that does not train with your private data

- next could be stuff like remote gaming like #nvidiaNow

And i think there could be more possible uses.

I kinda guess that the upload bandwith is the limiting factor here, also the complexity of the interaction between all the setups. Did you find any ways to benefit the public with your gear allready?
