In the last two years, I spend plenty of time to make experiences with the Zephyr OS. I used the last days to look back and summarize at least some of my learnings. Target hardware was a microcontroller from Nordic Semiconductor. Some things worked surprisingly well, others did not.
The second step is picking the right chip. After research, I found that Nordic and STM32 offer the lowest-power BLE solutions. Nordic is slightly better on paper, but I chose STM32 as I have more experience with it.

The only thing that irritates me about this is that it wasn't built in #Europe.
Actually, scratch that. I am both saddened and angered that #Equinor isn't dumping a couple of hundred millions into #NordicSemiconductor to set up #RISCV prefabs so we can make our own SoC's - and I mean for workstation and server grade SoC's, not just embedded controllers.
#ARM is owned by ARM Holding and is therefore outside the scope of #DigitalSovreignty.
