It burns my biscuits and scorches my gravy not having OTA reception.😡

I really miss having OTA TV reception. Where we have lived since 2019, we get zero channels. We probably wouldn't have bought this house and moved here had we known that.

There is no reasonable antenna that will pull reception, either.

My brother has fiber and I have been putting off building a box to stick #NextPVR, #JellyFin and my TV tuner cards in so I could stream OTA from his home two hours away and record TV again. There was a lot of sub channels, like movies, etc in our old region where he lives, which is technically ours, too.

We get zero OTA TV signals

Tonight was the first night it hurt after #Spectrum stopped #cableCard support in our area and cut our card off. We had several finales going on. I'm not paying for their dvr service. I've recorded over the air or via cablecard for +30 years

The tv season is about up and by the next, we will have a remote DVR/PVR setup

We're putting a TV tuner in my brother's system, he has A+ OTA sig & he has fiber

#NextPVR will run it there and we will m3u tuner it into #JellyFin

We have solved the issue of not getting any local tv stations where we live in #AppalachianOhio

We are going to setup an antenna and my TV tuner cards at my brother's house 100 miles away. He lives in 3 TV markets. He has fiber internet.

We will setup #NextPVR there & I'll import the TV streams into my local #jellyfin

Then, we can tell Charter Spectrum bye bye. Our minimal TV package has tripled since 2019 in price, and we only use it for locals, and they ended support for CableCards.

#SchedulesDirect emailed me that mandatory lineup changes needed due to their provider update.

If you rely on Schedules Direct for your TV lineup, you need to take action before December 11th or your TV listings will be wrong.

If you use USA-AFN-DEFAULT you need to change it to USA-AFN-X.
