This implies that either the server has the password in clear, or just stores sha1 hex password in the db unsalted, which means that if the db leaks, it's trivial to leak the original passwords.
and they've had 10+ years to fix this but they haven't. This also means that they effectively have zero security people on board.
If you use the live TV function along with Schedules Direct, this should fix the issue causing your SD account to be blocked.

If you rely on Schedules Direct for your TV lineup, you need to take action before December 11th or your TV listings will be wrong.
If you use USA-AFN-DEFAULT you need to change it to USA-AFN-X.
