Looking up #oldtimeradio stories based on tales by one of my favorite #sciencefiction authors (and #newspaperman), Clifford D. Simak, I was surprised to find he had reported on a Project #Mastodon ... in 1956 on X Minus 1, and a year earlier as a novella in Galaxy Science Fiction magazine.
