Obsidian Urbex PhotographyHungarian Neo-Baroque. This grand abandoned building dates back to the 14th century, but most of the present building is largely from a late 1800s renovation, notably in Neo-Baroque style.
Over the years it has been a grand hotel, a restaurant, a cinema, and a nightclub. It even housed a strip club and a repair shop before closing in the late 1980s.

๐ง I love this church building and thought it looked interesting framed between the building on the left and the wall closer to the camera with graffiti.
โญ I think I've made the church stand out enough that it doesn't look too messy, just a lovely grand looking church in a busy city.
โก๏ธ The top quarter of the tower looks hazier than the rest of the building and I'm sure I could fix it if I knew how... The angle my camera was at means none of the vertical lines are exactly perpendicular so I don't know if the way I've cropped it is best.

โ This impressive building was the headquarters of a nautical freight transport company, which traded all over the world. Their primary import was coffee; their main export was flour.
After World War One, the company ceased trading. This building has seen many uses since it was partitioned: bank offices, apartments, a cafe, a travel agent, storage, an orthodontist and a paediatric clinic, to name a few.
