Completely discombobulated this morning and really upset Nansen by not feeding him when I first woke up (he went hunting instead and only appeared later when I was feeding my daughter).

Boosted this earlier but it's worth emphasizing: Hochul's stated justification for suddenly canceling NYC's congestion pricing is bullshit. She said it's because business owners fear reduced sales if people have to pay (more) to drive into the city. Guess what, the petit bourgeoisie are full of shit! Shocking, I know. Business owners consistently underestimate how many of their customers reach their shop via walking, biking, or public transport. Evidence shows that increasing options for non-drivers usually boosts sales in businesses that are affected. (Also, one of the business owners Hochul claims to have spoken with denies ever talking about congestion pricing with her.)
