Never really thought about the fact that archaelogy could be a somewhat lucrative criminal endeavor. I guess you could say that it's the premise for "La Chimera" (2023).

But what it really is, is... something else. Italian rural life and the group of showmen-cum-raiders resonate with life, so much so that they come to put a smile on even the brooding downer of a protagonist. Or it's really the gorgeous Carol Duarte.
