CERT szybko zareagował w sprawie mSzyfru – już następnego dnia otrzymaliśmy informację od przedstawiciela, że zgłoszenie dotyczące przestarzałej wersji kodu zostało „przekazane do odpowiednich osób”.

Fun fact: government in Poland will be introducing "new" communicator called "mSzyfr" (in eng would be "mCipher") that is just matrix-protocol backend and rebranded element client. I mean, I think that is rather good, as this really seem as attempt to leave the micro$softs and other companies traps.
I .... don't know yet what else to think, as for example the backend will be "Element ESS Pro" which means rather good financial support for matrix-related development (synapse, element etc..), but well, afaik this is not open source, which would stand in contradiction to full polish jurisdiction, as it is being advertised.
Not to mention that I have not found yet the source of rebranded soft that is used here directly.
And the probable AGPL license breaking case.... Well, this could be just polish-style fuckup, but let's hope it's not.

Poland directs officials to ditch Signal in favour of a ‘secure’ state-developed alternative.

The Polish government is urging public officials and “entities within the National Cybersecurity System” to stop using Signal, directing them to instead use an encrypted messenger developed by a leading Polish research organisation.
