A much anticipated trip to Tenerife after the long quarantine days of 2020 and 2021. Mount Teide had nothing but views for days. Many endemic plants and Flora to see with incredible hiking.

The stargazing was wonderful, we saw the moon in great detail, Saturn with its rings, Jupiter and several of its moons, and a binary star whose name I have forgotten through powerful telescopes, then our guide used laser pointers to drawn our attention to key constellations and told us how far away the different stars were and what we were supposed to be able to make out. I think those ancient Greeks were taking liberties when they saw a swan or a princess or whatever. The guide was very humorous and had some lovely Spanglish turns of phrase #MountTeide #Tenerife
