• Unlike the #Wii with it's quirky #MotionControls this thing doesn't deliver something uniquely new or previously unknown to the audience.

We all bought a Wii, we all played Wii Sports, motion controls seriously improved so many games.

Now there are basically only motion controls in VR games and those too are becoming rare.

Why?

Speaking of gamepads with #MotionControls and extra buttons, I’ve been using #Flydigi Vader 3 Pro on a #Switch for more than a month now, so #AMA 😎 I’m going to add the #accessibility hashtag because gamepads with extra features have moved from kinda neat to essential category for me: I have pain in my right thumb, so if I can remap the face buttons to extra buttons on the back, I can play longer with little to no discomfort, which is great.

The new #Xbox controller would have an accelerometer. Why? I mean, I’m interested (no extra buttons, so not THAT interested), but why? Is it just for PC, where I assume it can be used by #Steam, #reWASD, some #emulators, or will #motioncontrols come to Xbox?

Upd. Or is it just for “turn on simply by picking it up”? That seems wasteful.
