Fuck. That. Noise.

TLDR; they are switching to a subscription. I can still use my key indefinitely, but don’t want to. Kinda gross.

One less reason to stick with #Windows. Maybe a project for the fall would be to finally switch the gaming PC to #Linux as well. Probably want to finish some VR games first, just in case, and then keep a VM for those pesky hardware configuration programs (and 3 old Windows machines that I don’t use, but we don’t talk about that).

#reWASD

My #PS5 is connected to the best TV in the house but I haven't been able to play on it much lately. I'm running out of time to finish #FF16 before #FF7Rebirth comes out so I tested PS Remote Play on my most used PC and it worked really well.

To avoid having to re-pair my DualSense with my PS5 every time I play remotely, I got the #reWASD app so I can use my Xbox Series controller instead, which is an interesting experience. I may lose out on some features but I find it more comfortable to hold.

The new #Xbox controller would have an accelerometer. Why? I mean, I’m interested (no extra buttons, so not THAT interested), but why? Is it just for PC, where I assume it can be used by #Steam, #reWASD, some #emulators, or will #motioncontrols come to Xbox?

Upd. Or is it just for “turn on simply by picking it up”? That seems wasteful.
