I usually root for #Wales (#Cymru), #Scotland, #France (#LesBleus) in the #SixNations. Even made it to the then #MilleniumStadium in #Cardiff to watch Manu #Samoa beat Wales a few years ago, very good game and met some Wales fans before the match (I was the one near the bottom rows holding a large Samoa flag 🇹🇼). Then I headed to #Paris for #FRAvSAM match (our loss, especially the own goal).
It's nice to see #Ireland become so good, again.
Fantastic night at the #RoyalAstronomicalSociety #AwardsDinner - two medals for @Radboud_uni Astronomy department at #NAM2023. My colleague @mmosc_m received the Eddington medal for her theoretical work and I the Herschel medal for my observational work within the @ehtelescope. Also awarded: John Peacock with a gold medal and Rob Fender for the #Meerkat team. Thanks a lot!
