Man of the World 2026 Oliver Eugen Kretz crowned in Malate, Manila, Philippines

Oliver Eugen Guzman Kretz of the Philippines has made history as the first Filipino winner of Man of the World. Hailing from Puerto Princesa, Palawan, Philippines, he was born to a German father and a Filipino mother.

Mustafa Galal Elezali of Egypt won the inaugural edition of the international beauty pageant in 2017. The title was won by Cao Xuân Tài of Vietnam in 2018, Daniel Georgiev of Bulgaria in 2019, Aditya Khurana of India in 2022, Jin Wook Kim of South Korea in 2023, Sergio Alejandro Azuaga Piñango of Venezuela in 2024 and Juul Missiaen of Spain in 2025.

After Georgiev’s dethronement in 2019, he was replaced by his runner-up Jin Kyu Kim of South Korea. The latter was not able to crown his successor until 2022 amid the new coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

Man of the World 2026

Hosted by Yen Supan, the Man of the World 2026 coronation ceremony was held at the Palacio de Maynila in Malate, Manila, Metro Manila, Philippines on June 6, 2026. It is the eighth edition of the international beauty pageant owned by Prime Events Productions Philippines Foundation Inc. (PEPPS).

Juul Missiaen crowns Man of the World 2026 Oliver Eugen Kretz in Malate, Manila

Juul Missiaen of Spain won Man of the World 2025 at the SM Skydome in Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines on May 31, 2025. A total of 27 men competed for the title.

On June 6, 2026, Missiaen crowned his successor Oliver Eugen Kretz of the Philippines at the Palacio de Maynila in Malate, Manila, Metro Manila. The latter made history as the first Filipino winner of Man of the World.

28 Man of the World 2026 candidates to compete in Malate, Manila

Juul Missiaen represented Spain at Man of the World 2025 and competed against 26 other candidates at the SM Skydome in Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines on May 31, 2025. He won the title.

Runner-up to Missiaen was Israel Sierra of Mexico. The respective second, third and fourth runners-up were Sittichok Panitloedtewa of Thailand, Honza Jiránek of the Czech Republic and Sworman Delgado of Panama.

Man of the World 2026 candidates

On May 30, 2026, Missiaen attended the Man of the World 2026 national costume competition at the Palacio de Maynila in Malate, Manila, Metro Manila. Prime Events Productions Philippines Foundation Inc. (PEPPS) president Carlo Morris Galang also graced the event.

On June 4, 2026, Missiaen served as a judge at the preliminary competition. It had three segments, which are the fashion show, the swimsuit competition and the formal wear competition.

On June 6, 2026, Missiaen will go back to the Palacio de Maynila to crown his successor. It is the eighth edition of the international beauty pageant based in San Juan, Metro Manila and owned by PEPPS.
