Sims 2 sadly does crash once it exceeds 2GB RAM, which is quick depending on tze amount of (custom) assets one has loaded.
From what @fuchsiii told me #Sims4 is one of the few multi-platform - games that utilize the #MagicTrackpad under #macOS well...
