So I'll need to update the wiki, train a few folks on #inkstitch, and print very big "if you don't know what you're doing don't even look at it" and "if you touch the scissors/tweezers/usb stick" signs, BUT it looks like @tog 's newest toy is working beautifully!

It hasn't moved to its proper home (the perpetual tidying of the #hackerspace) but I'm super excited to play with this and maybe host some guests...

Bah, as search is dead I have no idea if I can walk into a shop in Dublin and buy Royal embroidery thread. It's rayon for #machineEmbroidery and I used to just stroll into Lena's in Limerick and pick out my colours as needed.

Anyone have any leads?

(Lena's are great btw, just 200 km away...)

Finished my blouse before the crowds started and now switched to full on embroidery. Come nerd out about ink/stitch and laser cutters at the @tog stand at #CorkCarnivalOfScience
