Escaped from home in northern #Iraq, in 2011. At 19y/o my life was in danger; powerful people made threats to #kill me. Word was UK was secure place for #refugees

In UK, I was scared & sure it was only a matter of time before I would be detained & #deported Iraq

Decided that to avoid #death I needed to get myself out to mainland #Europe

Acquaintance knew smugglers who could get me out in #lorrie
