Am I the only one who missed this announcement. I just now and then checked the local and global timelines on Mastodon, but on mastodon.social this not possible anymore and I miss it.

Would this maybe be a financial decision and how does this fit in with the idea of the Fediverse?

Sometimes while browsing the #localtimeline I feel like I'm the most active human poster on mastodon.coffee next to @DaNanner and I know that just can't possibly be true. Sometimes I feel this is the ass end of the #fediverse.

#Fedilab ist eine sehr leistungsfähige Android-App fürs Fediverse. Man bekommt sie bei #FDroid.

Leider ist sie kaum dokumentiert. Darum beschreibe ich jetzt ein Feature, das ich erst heute gefunden habe:

– ferne Timeline einblenden: ein Profil der Instanz aufrufen > Dönermenü oben rechts > Folge Instanz

– ferne Timeline ausblenden: Sidebar > Meine App > Timelines verwalten

I found this suggestion on GitHub/mastodon.
"Expanding the #localtimeline (LTL), or having something like a #sharedlocaltimeline would be an interesting feature for [all] us, as we could add other #instances which are focused on..." the same topic, institution or region.

Either I was doing #BirdSite wrong or #Mastodon is just out here smashing it when it comes to #SocialMedia

My #BirdSite feed was only useful after following a series of people.

#Mastodon has that #LocalTimeline and #FederatedTimeline allowing me to see toots from people I'd otherwise probably never find.
