Long Weekends & Life Reminders: You Never Know...[2of2]
My Road to Recovery was:
1. A month of insulin injections at home
2. With my doctor's blessing and family support, a temporary vegetarian diet, combined with exercise and fasting.
3. This helped me lose 15 lbs. to get off insulin.
Now, I maintain my health and stay diabetes-drug-free with regular seasonal fasts. It was a stark reminder that some sacrifices are indeed worth it to safeguard our well-being.
