Long Weekends & Life Reminders: You Never Know...[2of2]

My Road to Recovery was:
1. A month of insulin injections at home
2. With my doctor's blessing and family support, a temporary vegetarian diet, combined with exercise and fasting.
3. This helped me lose 15 lbs. to get off insulin.

Now, I maintain my health and stay diabetes-drug-free with regular seasonal fasts. It was a stark reminder that some sacrifices are indeed worth it to safeguard our well-being.

Protect Your Well-being

The takeaway? We must prioritize self-care. It's not a luxury, it's vital.
1. Surround yourself with people who uplift and support you.
2. Seek experiences that bring you joy and fill your cup.
3. Nurture your mind, body, and soul.

You never truly know what's around the corner. So, this long weekend, let's disconnect from the grind, and reconnect with what truly matters. Let's recharge, and live.
