No, but seriously, due to lack of shelf space I set myself a 'read one, buy one' rule, where I take the books I've read off my shelves (and then either into storage or I donate them to the library), which frees up space for new books. Good motivation to read what I own, and a good way to save money.
This was my first big book haul of the year, and most of these are secondhand. Even though I've started listening to audiobooks and have been using the library more, I still love buying books for my home library, so I'll never stop doing that, but this is a way to be mindful about it, and make sure I don't overconsume.
