Linuxiac.com har skrevet en god artikel om, hvor appdistributionsformatet Flatpak er på vej hen, og det ser ud til, at fremtiden byder på tættere integration med systemd, for at indfri de langsigtede tekniske mål.

Artiklen berører også, at netop den beslutning om tættere systemd-integration kan have stor betydning for systemd-fri distributioner - så måske ender udviklingen af Flatpak-teknologien med at køre i flere spor? Svaret på det er helt åbent for nu.

But also kinda cursed for my ADHD because it covered so many topics of interest —the VM stuff that's actually my job, and peer-to-peer local-first apps, and image-based OS— and I want to already work on allll that but in the end I don't have the executive function to do anything lol

this was a delightful closer to #linuxappsummit and i'll place bets that this is a talk the kids revisit in 10 years with a bit of nostalgia when all that was foretold comes true.

"the kids" on the far end of that succession planning jorge strongly suggests we need to be figuring out sooner than later. :p
