I stuck with zmq-pub for more than a half year, now fetched the #linht way of exposing the #sx1255 with zmq_proxy.

Rx ssb should be feasible real soon now.

Would like to transmit #M17 to be able to test module17 hardware, another sleeping project.

#sx1255 pi hat new action with zmq_proxy and soapysdrserver

Almost works!

Another pi can find it with soapysdrutil --find
But #gqrx too heavy for a pi zero 2 hardware

#LinHT 1/2

Production files approved. LinHT Rev B is officially being manufactured.

#LinHT (Linux Handheld Transceiver) is an open-source handheld #radio built around #Yocto #Linux, designed to be fully hackable at both the hardware and software levels. Unlike traditional radios with closed firmware, LinHT runs a real Linux system, enabling rapid development of new digital/analog modes, networking features, and DSP experiments. ....

@m17_project

So the #m17 project has an HT in the works called #LinHT? How close is this to being a real thing I can buy? #hamradio

@on1arf The linht project has a firmware: https://github.com/M17-Project/LinHT-hw

In the end, the most simple way would be to have a Linux and Gnuradio or alike to start. Then you can decide if you need to optimize more to have better battery lifetime etc.
