Live Long and Prophecy
EHS. Exploding Head Syndrome. Apparently, that's the diagnosis for the WhatsApp notifications I've heard the last two mornings at 6 AM. Oh, my phone is always off at night. Not on DND but OFF! (Edit: EHS not EMS. I'll need the EMS if it does explode. My SIL said, 'Sounds like a blast" which, when you think about it, describes the syndrome to a TNT.)

$252 in gas and electricity charges for the coldest January on record here in Toronto doesn't seem too bad. The heat pump switches to gas at 0 C, maybe I should change that to maybe 1 or 2 since the fan runs much longer than it does on gas. With a heat pump and gas aux, I think it's important to keep track of the two charges. My thoughts for this Saturday morning.

“Best thing the Romans ever did for us.”
“What?”
“Oh, yeah. If we didn’t ’ave crucifixion this country would be in a right bloody mess, Oi tell you.”
“Guard!”
“Nail ’em oop, Oi say!”
“Guard!”
“Nail some sense into them!”
If you're keen on ECO stuff and don't want to toss coffee grounds into the garbage, instead spreading them over your garden, here's a tip. The Keurig ones are easy the but Nespresso pods are a pain. Tip: Leave them to try out for a week or so. The coffee falls out quicker than wind out a duck's...ok. Well, pretty quick.
I think I missed the connection somehow.
@Yehuda @knowprose that, cousin, is a most excellent reference 😁
