@campuscodi - does #LibreFox have this issue?

@itsfoss

...von langjährig #firefox zu #chromium zu #brave # zu #librefox zu #vivaldi und zurück zu #firefox

...ist alles ein bischen unbefriedigend mit den browsern

The concept of #ContainerTabs in #Firefox and derivatives (like #Librefox and #Waterfox) is very useful, but it needs to be better implemented to be seamlessly useful.

Few months ago I had tried #Librefox. But needed to undo(break) some fingerprinting measures to have #darkMode & some extensions (possibly; do not remember now). What it did & I {un,}did to it, same I did to #Firefox.

#Waterfox was relatively "broken" in disappointingly-hilarious way at the time.

Looks like will need to do the same song & dance to|with Librefox again (until it can keep yoinking the source from Firefox; to be decided what the fuck I would do after).

#webBrowser

Well, goodbye #firefox. Their new #ceo is announcing his plans for #firefox to become an #ai brower.

BUT! Don't bother reading it, just have some other #llm summarize it, that's what they want you to do anyway isn't it?

I'll give it a spin. Now using #Librefox but it crashes whenever I close a window.

Feels a bit weird, and sad, to be honest:

switching away from #firefox for #librefox, due to doubts in 'the new features and possible interests' felt honestly like coming home to a more welcoming mindset again.

Peace on my computer. Please.
The #AI-Btn on the left bar overstepped it for me.

screenshot is a list of files that were sufficient to export from #FF to swiftly jump on #librefox as default browser.

A truly personally historical moment.
Any suggestions why that "good" feeling?

@codemonkeymike

Looks like something I need to explore. Linux Mint on older imacs was underwhelming and the sound was messed up and needed a lot of tweaking to work.

Now that #Firefox has joined the advertising privacy invading #enshitification #AI business, how about #LibreFox or other browsers?

#Librefox is too "secure", some fonts don't even show up because of it's strong RFP I guess.
