FYI for #IronFox Obtainium users:

Due to changes in how we upload/handle releases (Notably, we now upload them to releases.ironfoxoss.org), the current Obtainium configuration no longer works as expected.

To resolve the issues and ensure you keep receiving updates, please remove your current configuration, and add your preferred new/fixed configuration from here:

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and thank you for your time/support!

We have the year 2026 and after all this time it is still a royal pain in the ass to export and import #Firefox bookmarks on #Android. 😩 And third-party solution such as #Floccus are still not available for Android.

Any other suggestions or workarounds (other than a Firefox account)?

Ironfox on Android does not autocomplete what I'm typing based on history, it seems to work only for bookmarks and other tabs. I do have history enabled, so I see visited URLs when I open the history. Which setting do I need for autocompleting URLsfrom history In the URL bar?

Hi everyone, we, #IronFox, are excited to announce that we’ve officially migrated our issue tracker to @Codeberg : https://codeberg.org/ironfox-oss/bugs/issues. **Issues will no longer be accepted on GitLab and in any repo outside of this one**.

This will allow us to be far better organized and more efficient/productive - as instead of having several different issue trackers (one for each of our repos) across two different sites (GitLab and Codeberg), we’ll now have a single, unified, and accessible place for all issues. It’ll also make it a lot easier for users to navigate and search through existing/already filed issues.

We look forward to hearing what the community thinks of this change!

@viermalbe In your #bubbles blog (post)[https://dshbx.de/blog/bubbles/entry/b9869fa7-03e3-4066-9ce5-112cfbddfa03] you claim that your dashboard on #PlausibleAnalytics is
> completely public [...] no login required.

When I try to access (your dashboard)[https://data.holtwick.de/bubbles.town], on #ironfox on Android with just #ublockorigin , it just shows me a blank page with links and a login link.

If I need to login, then "no login required" is not true. Please fix this if possible. Thanks.

As a reminder, according to external sources and `about:support`, #Firefox on #Android – including #IronFox – has no sandbox. So it is inherently less safe than some other browsers that are available on Android. Arguable, specialized sandboxing is less important on Android, as the OS does more to isolate apps, but it is still relevant.

`about:support` on Linux shows detailed sandboxing status. On Linux, there is or (maybe wasn't until recently) GPU sandboxing.
