So there is this new alternative for LinkedIn: Nolto. Right now mostly IT guys have made an account there because they were the first to discover it, but how about some of us artists and makers go there and add some diversity? It's very simple, you can use your Mastodon account to log in.

Getting away from Microsoft entirely is a process. It took them years to get ahold of so much of our lives. Pick the easiest thing to discard and do that first. For me, that's LinkedIn.

I created an account (be sure to delete everything before "nolto.social" in the email verification link, if you use email sign-up) and filled it with a download from my LinkedIn profile (currently in Dutch).
