This is one of my dad's plants I photographed last night. The leaf's diameter is about 1.2 metres (~45 in) already. I got a gunnera plant from him a few months ago, but it's nowhere near this size 🤯 (I have it in a smaller pot though, and it survived a night frost and a chicken attack)

AO SmithLooking up at the canopy of the 'Esk Sunset' sycamore maple in the sunshine is pretty cool
Some of the smoke trees around the property today, green to yellow to purple with a variety of stem colors. There also several purple-green leaved ones around, although some of those are volunteers.
This feels like slightly more #LeafScrolling than #BloomScrolling even in spring. Note the "smoke" that gives them their commn name doesn't come until late summer.
