Close Encounters 🐝 for an early #insectsaturday

So, I was at the hospital this evening - not for any medical reasons or anything! They just have a huge bush of Star Jasmine there that I like to smell. Let's not make this weird, okay?

Anyway, they also have these trees that I got to find the name of but they had these little ones on them! This is a Scolia Hirta or Hairy Scoliid Wasp. Just chilling out. Look at its little "hands" holding onto the leaf! 😭
