Acute #laryngitis for the second time in 5 weeks. Not ideal for an elementary #teacher. Today was instruction via pantomime and interpretive dance. #allergies are killing me. #juniper !!! ::shakes fist::
I get it. It’s annoying that I barely have my voice back and I’m hard to hear. How do you think I feel every-person-I’ve-talked-to-on-the-phone- today- that-I-should-have-talked-to-last- week-but-had-no-voice-to-do-so-so-I’m-doing-it-now person!

Hubby: how you feeling?
Me: no delusions of functionality
Hubby: glad to hear you’re not delusional at least

Still, today I am upright and have built a tiny to-do list. Starting to return to the good old me. Slowly. And with naps.

Put together a remote interactive class script for Thursday (whew) so now it's time to take a nap

Definitely dealing with some form of #laryngitis right now. Ugh.

OH on other social media:

--- "People need to ask before hugging!"

The long thread that followed, agreeing, body autonomy & everything, but not a single mention of the fact we're still in the middle of a #pandemic

--- "Good news! It's not #Covid or #Strep but #laryngitis"

"{foo} has the same except #Pneumonia or #Bronchitis"

"{foo2} has the same!"

Gee.. What a "coincidence"... Not one mention of the possibility of #LongCovid / #PACS (Post Acute Coronavirus Syndrome)
