Here's GOP House Speaker Mike Johnson's district, #LA04. Over 38,000 of his constituents are enrolled in #ACA exchange coverage, plus another 140,000 in Medicaid via ACA expansion. He's throwing nearly 24% of his constituency under the bus.

OK, they're using the calculator at americanscovered.org. For #LA04 (and all of the examples) it looks like they're assuming the couple are 60 yrs old & are enrolled in a Silver Plan, which is fine; that would indeed give $542/mo for 2025. However, again, $82,800 is only 391% FPL next year.

in #LA04 specifically (Mike Johnson's district), it's around ~140,000 in Medicaid via #ACA expansion and ~38,000 in #ACA exchange plans. That's up to 23.5% of all residents in his district.

It's actually down to 35.4% of #LA04 now (38% was from a year ago while the post-COVID unwinding process was still going on), but that's still a SHITLOAD of his own constituents who he's screwing over. Then again, another 5% are in #ACA plans which he's trying to gut as well, so there's your 40%...
