Hahaha... I spotted BOE747 currently in flight, a ferry flight of a new Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner from San Antonio Kelly Field #KSKF to Everett #KPAE. I guess the Boeing test pilots are having fun with the callsign "Boeing Seven Four Seven Heavy" but air traffic controllers aren't. (It isn't a 747. πŸ˜€) 787 line number LN1294 is being prepared for delivery to China Southern. I got a @JetTip alert about SWA8502 N8772M MAX8 diverting to Portland #KPDX. Interesting, ferry flight out of maintenance from Everett #KPAE to Phoenix #KPHX - SWA doesn't serve PAE but uses maintenance facilities there. Can we figure out the issue? As a ferry flight, it can't be pax. PHX weather isn't bad now; thunderstorms forecast later. Apparently not urgent enough to divert closer like RNO, SMF, BOI, EUG or SLC.
