Interesting, ferry flight out of maintenance from Everett #KPAE to Phoenix #KPHX - SWA doesn't serve PAE but uses maintenance facilities there. Can we figure out the issue? As a ferry flight, it can't be pax. PHX weather isn't bad now; thunderstorms forecast later. Apparently not urgent enough to divert closer like RNO, SMF, BOI, EUG or SLC. Spotted approaching PDX this afternoon: Alaska Airlines Boeing 737-800 N559AS in native-American themed "Xáat Kwáani (Salmon People)" special livery. This plane was previously "Salmon Thirty Salmon" before it needed repainting in 2023.
