#kolektivamod (or #kolektivamoderation but that's too long maybe) are good hashtags to alert all active Kolektiva mods about an issue

#kolektivameta is a good hashtag for expressing opinions about our instance, how we should do things in the future, improvements or clarifications we should make to our Code of Conduct or whatever, and so on

using these hashtags will make it easier to understand what the fuck is happening when events are transpiring

hello i am a kolektiva mod
i realize there has been some significant conflicts in the last few days, more than one so i won't try to fit it into 500 characters. i want to clarify that kolektiva moderation is aware of this and i've reached out to a number of people who are involved, to try and figure out what we can do next.
i've asked some folks to step back for the night, & i personally am going to rest for the evening. DM me if you need to and i will respond when i can

after getting all the information, we've banned earfethe from kolektiva (the latest alt account of this particular block evader) due to the obvious pattern of bad-faith behaviour.

I am presently working on a draft for a better About page (including a "code of conduct") than the one we currently have (which is largely taken from mastodon.social) that I will present to the Kolektiva team to discuss

Currently looking for inspiration. Please send me other instances' About pages that you think I should know about!

Also looking for thoughtful stuff on, like, the potential (both good and bad) of the fediverse
