finished knitting and washed merino wool bike shorts. I altered the Berroco Forsyth pattern to be more fitted, low waist, my fav oval elastic threaded thru eyelet holes, ribbed cuffs. Circular needles size US 1.5 🧶Knitting the short rows was fun and it fits pretty well, the cuffs might still be too tight even though I added yarnovers every other stitch when casting off. Might add reinforcement between legs later will see after I bike in them a few times. Unfortunately I found out too late that the yarn Koigu Premium Merino has a superwash merino base which accounts for that kind of sticky texture. It didn’t say anywhere in the description of the yarn that it had a superwash base, I found out on the company website. So a learning lesson for me, research the yarn more carefully!
