Have you ever tried knitting double brioche?

I'm knitting a hat for my son, Folke, using the double brioche stitch. This technique creates a ribbed fabric that is incredibly squishy and thick. It's also surprisingly easy to knit!

I'm using two colors that are very close in hue, which I love because they create a subtle color effect—almost like a shadow.

The yarn is DropsAir and DropsKidSilk 💙🩵❤️

Finished this hat, just in time for the record heat. Yarn is Rowan Cocoon. The pattern is called Pine Tree Hat. Frankly, if i used different colors it might look more like pine trees. But all i can see is a flattened rat and/or an abstract headless skinless chicken. Thoughts? Despite the image, i still love the hat. #knitters #knittersofmastodon #knittedhat
