South Korea’s financial regulators are unlikely to grant preliminary approval for STO OTC platforms this year, as extended reviews over financial operator qualifications and complex shareholding structures delay the process for KDX, Lucentblock, and the NXT Consortium.

Hotline/KDX Many years ago, long before the internet became, lived an era where some people would run or access bulletin board systems (BBS) and most would use their modem and dial up to a BBS in order to obtain new software, send/receive messages with other people, and generally exist in “online” communities. The BBS was entirely text mode, you would dial up someone’s computer, spend some time looking for, downloading, and sometimes uploading files.
@thatKomputerKat i used #kdx a lot right after #hotline more or less died. sadly kdx was never ported to mac os on intel but it's still very nice for ppc mac, windows and linux. i whish such apps would still produced

Today I tried #Haxial #KDX for the first time and freaking love it. How did I not hear of this 20 years ago? This is the Internet I would have preferred, not the bloated mess of web apps. Relevant links:

Chat integrates with IRC and has a voice channel. So, Discord except good.
Note: I'm running the old Windows client with Wine here. There's a Linux client but but old dependencies abound and I haven't had coffee yet.
