The answer to the last one actually surprised me. Because she would bring back her fiance, who was the one she murdered.
It's also funny because I hadn't given much thought to her fiance, but I realized he was a well meaning but very stupid man in the vein of Kokutou Mikiya from #KaraNoKyoukai who was on some level aware of what she was like but didn't really care. And she killed him because she thought she saw him looking at another woman in what for her was an unexpected burst of rage.
The layout of the Ana fight where she had these specters floating behind her was directly inspired by the first #KaraNoKyoukai movie and the fight against Kirie Fujou.
This one specifically.
The antagonist in a D&D adventure I'm writing now I realized has a lot in common with Asagami Fujino from #KaraNoKyoukai.
I only belatedly realized it well listening to my inspiration playlist for this story and realized this song could easily apply to Fujino.
Ufotable is and always has been amazing and all of their animation is incredible. From their very first days in making the Kara no Kyoukai: The Garden of Sinners series of movies, they have just produced top tier quality shit.
