Song Review: Rainy – “7 DAYS”

In June 2026, Rainy released “7 DAYS,” which is being used as the 75th ending theme for the Detective Conan anime series. I was introduced to this song when I watched the simulcast of Detective Con…

#DetectiveConan x Meitantei Precure crossover (Conan half, listed on Crunchyroll as episode P1): I like the fact that the Precure episode that the Detective Boys watched (based on what we saw) was Episode 18 of Meitantei Precure but without the Conan crossover. The episode was super fun as well! Easily a 10/10 for me, though that number might be a *bit* inflated due to how the last two anime original cases went. Or just my bias for the current Precure season poking through.

*sigh*

If only we got to go back to manga adapted content after this. Alas, we're still going to be firmly in anime original content next week. But maybe after next week we'll finally get back to stuff that was originally written in the manga by Gosho Aoyama instead of more anime original content.

This week's Detective Conan episode was a crossover with Meitantei Precure. I like the direction the crossover went in, and I think it worked for the Detective Conan universe.

And a new ending theme song dropped today: "7 Days" by Rainy. I thought it was great!

Reading #DetectiveConan – the #manga, because I'll never have enough free time for the #anime, heh. Hell, my remaining lifespan is probably not enough. Anyway, it's... actually really cute? I mean, aside from the fact that it's all about creatively violent murders all the time, yes, which is honestly a bit hilarious in a dark way. But I have a feeling that Aoyama Goushou knows exactly what he's doing, and the absurdist streak is 100% there on purpose.

#DetectiveConan Episode 1202: Bro, why do the anime original staff have to turn the most interesting character of the episode into either the culprit or the victim? I couldn't give less of a damn about the sons because they felt so flat to me. 6.5/10, good case dragged down by characters I don't care about.

At least I should have higher praise for next week's episode, even if at minimum it's because it's a crossover with another show I'm following.

In this week's Detective Conan episode, Kogoro and Conan stumble upon a murder investigation. The chairman of a company is murdered at his home while his personal secretary is there, and his two foolish sons are suspects. It's up to Conan to discover the one truth of the case.

Batman has never been The World’s Greatest Detective on The Big Screen.

I know I’ve said this before, but I want to make this point the focus for a change. The reason is so annoys me when part of the hype for Mat...

Sometimes the #DetectiveConan references are as subtle as a sack of bricks... #PhantomLawyer
