Traditionally Venus falls in its detriment in the sign of Aries (as its opposite Libra, the sign Venus naturally rules over). We’re a little bit more selfish when Venus occupies this sign. Selfishness is a quality often looked down upon, but for those who spend the majority of their time connecting with others, sometimes a self-centred break is necessary for the maintenance of close relationships and the fostering of community. There’s also a directness with Venus being in Aries. We’re less resistant to getting our hands dirty, more willing to be upfront when we see injustice.
