Cached US Kindle giveaway spotted by @galatfemme.bsky.social: 10 copies of Jonathan Stoud's Lockwood & Co.: The Screaming Staircase, which I have, but haven't read. A legal thread depressed the shit out of me, so I can't blurb much. I'm sorry. Please enjoy the book. #KindleBookGieaway

A lovely evening spent in the company of many outlaws celebrating the launch of the third and final #ScarlettandBrowne book by most wanted outlaw and author, Jonathan Stroud. Looking forward to the read. Thank you for a great night. #books #kidsbooksuk #locknation #childrensbooks #jonathanstroud #writers #andrewdonkin #walkerbooks #bookstodon

The more I read #LockwoodAndCo by #JonathanStroud, the more I believe #Channel4 should step in and save this #tvseries. You can read my #reviews for both book 1 and 2 over at my #blog

It makes for intense scenes where you fear for the safety of the main characters. The story is told from the point of view of Lucy Carlyle, a sensitive who hears ghosts and objects which have been touched by ghosts or death. She joins Lockwood & ...

Had a bit of a crap few weeks; when she came home from work on Friday my lovely G/F had been to the bookshop and bought me a present to cheer me up. Really enjoying this so far, after watching the tragically cancelled Netflix adaptation last year. It's terrifically paced and very clever.
