What’s the status of #L2Charging #NACS | #J3400 adoption?

Well, theres strong demand but divergent availability of supply. In #MURB #condo projects >80% of people are requesting NACS over #J1772, and for good reason. With almost all OEMs adopting NACS for the 2025 model year it makes perfect sense. For #EV owners with older cars, NACS>J1772 adapters are readily available for about $125.

The supply uncertainty is enabling some hardware makers to raise prices on the new ports. Perhaps we’ll see discounts on J1772 stock in short order. #YVR

The J3400 is now the official EV charging port standard in North America. One. Standard.

This will save huge amount of money, and increase convienience, productivty, for everyone.

And it won’t be proprietary.

It only took 30 years to get here.

Will there be any plug-in hybrid vehicles (PHEV) with a J3400 (NACS) connector? I wonder.

Will CCS eventually cease to be used or does it have application outside of passenger car/truck use?
