What’s the status of #L2Charging #NACS | #J3400 adoption?

Well, theres strong demand but divergent availability of supply. In #MURB #condo projects >80% of people are requesting NACS over #J1772, and for good reason. With almost all OEMs adopting NACS for the 2025 model year it makes perfect sense. For #EV owners with older cars, NACS>J1772 adapters are readily available for about $125.

The supply uncertainty is enabling some hardware makers to raise prices on the new ports. Perhaps we’ll see discounts on J1772 stock in short order. #YVR

@nico contrary to media and popular belief, slow #evcharging at home is best for car, grid and owner prosperity. If you are parked for 12 hours you don’t need to charge a second faster. If your home is a #MURB this is the design default.

Home charging represents about 80% of all charging, and with more infrastructure built in stratas, condo’s and rental buildings, EV adoption can continue and increase this proportion.
