De enorme dynamiek van de markt voor softwareontwikkeling vraagt om een uniek model voor Managed Services’, zegt Job Verhagen, CEO van Intercept. ‘Wij bieden hiervoor Cloud Control, een flexibele dienst die meebeweegt met onze klanten.’
Intercept is de Azure Expert Managed Service Provider waar Independent Software Vendors (ISV’s) op vertrouwen als ze een onlineversie van hun software-oplossing willen hosten in de cloudomgeving van Microsoft. Voor de implementatie, het beheer en het monitoren van deze omgeving is een standaard, meerjarig MSP-contract volgens Verhagen echter niet passend. ‘ISV’s voegen namelijk bijna dagelijks nieuwe code en functionaliteit toe aan hun cloudoplossingen. We moeten daardoor steeds meer portals bijhouden voor Microsoft Azure en er komen continu nieuwe modules bij.’
