Power companies win challenge over Texas transmission line law

Companies outside of Texas that don't have transmission lines in Texas can now do business in Texas, per a federal judge's ruling.

According to the suit, "NextEra alleged that SB 1938 was unconstitutional under the Commerce Clause because it discriminates against interstate commerce on its face, in effect, and in purpose."
