Yikes. I planned my trip to the #NEPA area in 2020. One alluring thing was that #transit in both Luzerne and Lackawanna counties ran until 10pm or 1am, depending on the route.
I loved the idea of trying different pizzerias, having a beer or two, and catching a #bus back to my hotel.
Now all the routes have been severely cut, with most routes ending in the early evening, thanks to funding cuts.
This is how the US creates transit death spirals and promotes drunk driving coast to coast.

Despite dire predictions, we only got a couple inches of snow. There were still large bare patches on the driveway this afternoon, but it's covered over now. I didn't bother to clear anything.
We'll see what tomorrow brings. I'll probably just shovel off what we have by hand.

We're almost out of snow up here in NEPA after a week of warmer weather. Fortunately, another Winter storm will roll in tomorrow morning, and continue through Monday noon. Looks like NYC and Philly will get rocked considerably harder than we will, so I guess the storm is mostly skirting South of us? ~6" for us, over a few days... much more further South.
